Laura Harrel

Mrs. Harrel has been with Happy Day since 1999. One of her greatest joys is listening to children process and express their ideas. Music, inspirational writing, nature hikes, and photo art are some of her personal interests.
Charlotte Hurt

Charlotte has been with Happy Day since 1996. Her favorite part of teaching is observing the children as they learn and discover new things. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, sewing, and being involved with her children and grandchildren.
Abby Wolcott

Abby has been at Happy Day since 2002. She is always amazed at how quickly children learn, and how much knowledge they absorb in such a short amount of time. She enjoys photography, relaxing with a good book, hiking, and working on arts and crafts.
Rona Ngirmang

Fluent in Palauan
Rona has been with Happy Day since 2001. She loves watching the children grow and learn, and she welcomes every opportunity to share God’s Word with them. Music and enjoying the company of friends and family are among her favorite things in life! Rona also enjoys hiking, going on long drives, and appreciating God’s work of art in nature.

Penny has been at Happy Day since 2006. She takes great pride and pleasure in watching the children’s delight as they grasp new concepts. In her off time, she enjoys sewing, camping, playing the violin and deep sea fishing.
Ali Dieter

Fluent in Spanish
Ali has been with Happy Day since 2010. She enjoys interacting with the students on the playground and assisting them with their arts and crafts. When Ali is away from Happy Day, she enjoys spending time with her four children.
Lisa Coppola

Fluent in Italian
Lisa has been teaching at Happy Day since 2017. She loves watching the children succeed, and observing the growth that takes place as they learn. Personally, Lisa enjoys crafts, swimming, shopping, cooking, baking and watching the Hallmark Channel.
Emily Zottman

Emily has been part of the Happy Day team since 2018. She loves watching the kids grow daily, whether it’s learning how to count, color in the lines, or observing student friendships blossom in the classroom. When she’s not at work, Emily enjoys reading, art journaling, painting, and spending time with her family.
Lyubov Kovalchuk

Fluent in Russian & Ukranian
Lyubov has been at Happy Day since 2022. She is currently pursuing her Associates Degree in Education, and in her free time she enjoys horseback riding, art, drawing, music, plays guitar, and working with children.
Rosa Gutierrez

Fluent in Spanish
Rosa has been cooking at Happy Day since 2015. She diligently prepares delicious, home-style meals for our students to enjoy. Rosa enjoys hiking, camping, spending time with her family, and teaching children at her church how to cook.
